RAPTOR Program

What is RAPTOR?

Existing roofs can become eligible for the RAPTOR Program through the following process:

1

Arapahoe Roofing walks and inspects your existing roof.

2

We provide a quote for initial repairs needed to qualify for RAPTOR enrollment, along with a set yearly agreement.

3

Quote includes a detailed list of emergency and preventative repairs.

4

Quote includes bi-yearly inspection cost.

5

Quote includes life expectancy and a budget for eventual replacement.

6

All repairs are completed.

7

Bi-yearly inspections are scheduled, once in the fall after leaves have fallen, and once in the spring after snowfall has ended.

Why RAPTOR?

    FAQ

A roof warranty is a guarantee that your roofing company will provide, stating that your roof installation (and sometimes, repairs) will be free of any material defects or workmanship errors. Roof warranties vary in duration, coverage, and terms depending on your roofing company and roofing type.

The length of a roof warranty will vary, but typically, a standard roof warranty lasts between 2 years to lifetime depending on type of roof system for your particular project.

Roof warranties usually cover material and workmanship defects, but be sure to read the fine print carefully. Most roof warranties might not cover damage caused by natural disasters, such as storms, hail, or improper installation.

A manufacturer’s warranty generally covers defects in your roofing materials, while a contractor’s warranty covers workmanship and installation issues. We offer both warranties to ensure that you’re covered in any case.

If you notice signs of water damage or leaks in your attic, or if you can see missing or damaged shingles, it’s time to have your roof inspected by a professional. A roofing expert can assess the damage and recommend the best course of action.

The length of time it takes to repair or replace a roof depends on the size of the roof, the extent of the damage, and the weather conditions. Most roof repairs take a few hours to a day, but this will vary depending on what needs to be fixed.

When choosing a roofing company, be sure to look for a company that is licensed and insured, and offers a warranty on their workmanship.

While you might be tempted to save money by doing your own roof repair, we never recommend it. Climbing around on a damaged roof is extremely dangerous, and if a repair is not done correctly, it can lead to more extensive (and expensive) damage down the line.

Ideally, you should have your roof inspected every couple of years, with additional inspections after heavy snowfall, hailstorms, etc. This can help detect any potential issues early on and prevent costly repairs or replacements down the line.
