    & Catchheads

Scupper drains provide an outlet through parapet walls or gravel stops on flat roofs and are used in conjunction with gutters and downspouts on pitched roof systems to divert water flow to the desired location. Arapahoe Roofing and Sheet Metal installs scupper drains either with the outlet pipe passing through the parapet wall or with the outlet pipe passing through the roof deck, depending on the type of roof architecture. Available in copper to mill finished aluminum, scuppers are available in a wide variety of architectural styles—Tuscan to modern--adding architectural interest to the gutter and drainage systems of homes and commercial buildings.

Catch heads are the water collection box or conductor head of a gutter flow system. As a function they provide overflow protection at the roofline, channeling water through scuppers. But more than that, catch heads are the jewel in the ornamentation of the gutter system, providing ornamentation and curb appeal to the flow functionality. Decorative rain shrouds, also known as chimney shrouds, prevent water from entering the tops of chimneys and come in metals—copper to zinc and more—to companion with the design of the catch heads. Catch heads installed by Arapahoe Roofing and Sheet Metal are pure works of art, adding artistic character and architectural personality to your gutter system.
